If you are interested in social entrepreneurship the answer is most likely yes. Whether you are a serial entrepreneur or new to the startup scene, if you are motivated to build a product or startup and open to new ideas you’ll fit right in. You don‘t even have to be an entrepreneur, just bring your ideas and let‘s change the world!

Apart from Organizers, selected Coaches, Speakers, Jury members, and press, everyone who attends the event is expected to participate all three days. This is important not only to preserve the ‘vibe’ of the weekend (“no talk, all action”) but also to minimize distractions/disruptions for working teams.

No, there is no fee. There is a donation. The donation money will be used to implement one of the ideas developed during the weekend. Even if you don‘t have an idea, you can still donate money. This way everyone can be a part of social innovations.
You will need to make a transfer AFTER we inform you that your idea was selected to participate in the ChangeMakers‘ON.
Transparency International is helping us to keep the event transparent and clear.

No! There are two options for you:
Option 1. Teams formed by groups of friends/colleagues. If the team needs a certain type of person, for (developer, IT specialist, designer and so on) the organizers will find them and connect them to the team before the event.
Option 2. Individual entrepreneurs, developers, project managers, designers and marketers. As “Free agents” they will be offered to join a team of their choosing before the event.

ChangeMakers are responsible for booking their own transportation and lodging (if needed). If you are traveling and unfamiliar with the location, reach out to the local organizing team to ask for nearby recommendations. Some venues will allow attendees to stay over-night, but please make sure to check with the organizers beforehand.
